ARTISAN is a Japanese gaming device brand established in 2008.
Back then, the gaming mousepad market was dominated by overseas brands and there were only a few options in the market.
However, many of us questioned the functionality and quality of then-dominating products.
Our founders had one simple and fundamental thought:
If esports are to be considered a "competition" rather than just a "game," then the devices used there should be "tools that actually work", not toys that just look fancy.
This belief is what sparked the creation of ARTISAN.
We logically defined the functionality needed to contribute to players' victories, and in 2008, released the "SMART PAD ARTISAN"—a made-in-Japan gaming mousepad focused on stable domestic manufacturing.
The SMART PAD ARTISAN was praised for its characteristically light glide and became a favorite among top players.
Since then, we have continued to expand our selection of surfaces, bases, and sizes to provide optimal solutions for an even wider range of playstyles, without ever compromising on quality.
