EU tariffs and duties Update (July 2026)
An important change to EU shipping is coming. Starting July 1st 2026, due to changes in EU customs regulations (EU Customs Reform), all shipments to EU27 member states will be subject to customs duties and taxes in addition to VAT (Value Added Tax). Payment will be required at the time of customs clearance or upon delivery.
What's Changing for EU Orders?
1. Abolition of Duty Exemption
Previously, shipments valued under €150 were exempt from customs duties. Following this change, all applicable shipments will be subject to customs duties. For all EU shipments, payment of taxes, duties, and handling fees is required.
2. New Duty Calculation Method
A customs duty of €3 per item (based on HS code classification) will be applied.
If multiple HS codes are included in one shipment, the duty will be applied to each classification.
3. VAT and Additional Charges
In addition to VAT (Value Added Tax), customs duties and clearance-related handling fees will apply.
These charges must be paid at the time of customs clearance or upon delivery.
4. Customs Clearance and Delivery
For customs clearance, additional information may be required, including "Customer information".
For customs procedures and payment instructions, you will be contacted directly by the shipping carrier (e.g., DHL / UPS).
Applicable Regions
These changes apply to shipments destined for EU member states (EU27).
